We reviewed a report from the Ministry of Justice on Māori victims of crime. The report entitled Māori Victimisation In Aotearoa New Zealand showed that Māori were more likely to experience being victims of crime across all offences: (38%) compared to 30% for the total population.  This is a strong

			The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) released the benefit factsheets for the quarter to 31 March. In whole numbers, 132,100 Māori (and their whānau) were welfare reliant, representing 30 percent of the adult Māori population: this is sobering.
