Data on child and youth criminal convictions released: from E33 week ending 27 September 2013

This week the Department of Statistics released child and youth criminal prosecution statistics for 2012/13.[1]  These data tables relate to prosecutions for rangatahi aged between twelve and sixteen years.  The data is not positive for Māori.  It shows 56 per cent of all prosecutions in this age group were Māori.
