From week ending 5 August 2011 Yesterday Statistics New Zealand released the Household Labour Force Survey for the quarter to the end of June 2011. Overall the survey shows unemployment is 6.5% of the workforce. For Māori the unemployment rate is 12.6% – still about double the total rate. In
